The accommodation was built on an old Dairy Farm - hence the name - you enter into the spacious hallway, with space to leave your coats and shoes. The Hall is tastefully decorated with white panelling and coastal blue décor where our Dairy Cow picture will greet you down the Hall! The beautifully styled, well equipped shaker kitchen has 2 ovens, and ceramic hob installed for all your cooking needs, and has also a dishwasher and washing machine. It also has oak worktops and a drinks station with Nespresso coffee machine for your use. You can sit, at the large extendable Oak table with 5 chairs and a bench which seats 8 people, and chat over breakfast a fish and chip tea or a fine dining dinner.
The ground floor features a luxury vinyl oak floor throughout the ground floor, and has white wood painted panelling to the Hallway, stairs and landing. The lounge at the bottom of the Hallway is quirkily decorated with modern furniture, quirky wallpaper and is decorated in green and navy tones with 2 3 seater sofas and 2 comfortable arm chairs. This where you have a view over the private enclosed garden, and views over the countryside. The garden is where you can relax after a long day out at the beach or sightseeing - it has a garden shed where children can play a large patio area with 2 sun loungers and an outside table and 8 chairs.
When you’re not busy exploring Whitby, the enclosed patio area to the back of the property which has artificial grass for your comfort is the perfect spot to enjoy an al fresco drink or try out our barbecue. We can also arrange hot tub hire for a further fee - contact Debra for information.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week - we are aware that our beloved fur babies will follow you upstairs which is fine - however clean paws for upstairs please - good to bring towels and throws as we know they love the sofa !!

Kitchen / Dining Area
A door down the Hallway to the LEFT, accesses the well equipped kitchen and dining room, which has a fabulous Taupe Shaker style kitchen, a large expandable Dairy oak table which seats 8-10 people- you can sit to the table to have your full english breakfast here with bacon and eggs from the local shops, or eat your fish and chips of an evening.
Double doors lead into the lounge area from here, so you can keep the kitchen closed, or have it open plan if required.
To the rear of Dairy Cottage is a large flagged patio and lawn, with a sitting out area which has a picnic table and patio furniture, the garden is south west facing and enjoys the sun from mid-day. There is a large shed where your children can play or you can store bicycles in here.
Lounge Area
LOUNGE with two three seater grey fabric sofa and 2 occasional navy velvet chairs for reading. Oak style flooring gives it that country feel, with a large contemporary tv stand with BT package Now tv and netflixs, oak sideboard and contemporary feel coffee and side table.
Furnished with a contemporary navy and green decor feel with complimentary feature wall and accessories. There is also a modern circular modern electric stove. A ceiling fan completes the decor for those warm summer days.
BATHROOMS
The Bedrooms
Has a King sized bed hotel style comfort bed with plush grey velvet headboard. This has a super pocket 1000 sprung mattress for your comfort, pale grey wardrobe, side tables and chest of drawers - grey blackout curtains finish off this room. Ceiling fans offer a cool breeze for those warmer evenings. An en-suite bathroom is attached to this room and double doors lead to a fabulous balcony where you can see over the countryside and to your right the tops of sneaton castle.
Has a super king bed with a 1000 pocket sprung mattress for your comfort and has complimentary pale grey furniture. Ceiling fans offer a cool breeze for those warmer evenings. This bedroom is next to the main bathroom.

This has 2 quality beds which can be placed together to make a super king sized bed or keep separate whichever you choose. Again these have 1000 spring mattresses for your comfort. There is also a single futon bed which is suitable for children or smaller adults. From the front window you can see the Abbey to your right and you can just see the sea from the front bedroom. Dark wood chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and hanging space complete this room.
This has 2 quality beds which can be placed together to make a super king sized bed or keep separate whichever you choose. the beds have headboards to compliment the decor with a chest of drawers bedside cabinet and clothes hanging space. Again there is a further single futon for that extra child.
